Traditional Prayers Following the Rosary:
The "Hail, Holy Queen!"
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail our life, our
sweetness, and our hope!. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of
tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us. And
after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O
clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us O Holy Mother of God;
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.
Prayer
O God, whose only begotten Son, by his life,
death and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal
salvation. Grant, we beseech thee, that while meditating upon these
mysteries of the most holy rosary, of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that we
may imitate what they contain, obtain what they promise,
through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

The
"Memorare"
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone
who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession
was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto thee, O virgin
of virgins, our mother. To thee do we come,
before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy, hear
and answer us. Amen.
St. Michael Prayer
St.
Michael, The Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the
wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and
do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast down into hell Satan, and all
the evil spirits, who roam about the world, seeking the ruin and destruction
of souls. Amen.
For the intentions of the Pope, and for gaining the Plenary Indulgence
associated with saying the rosary in common: One Our Father, One Hail Mary
and one Glory be to the Father.
The
Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
